USMAF Certificates
Imported health goods imported into Italy from third countries are subject to surveillance by maritime, aviation and border national health Institute of Ministry of Health.
The procedure ends with the final issue of an import admission measure(Documento Comune di Entrata - DCE in the case of food, Nulla Osta Sanitario - NOS in the case of other goods).
Type of goods:
- food
- certain goods that come into contact with food (including food machinery)
- certain goods that come into contact with the skin
In the case of certain types of machinery, together with the documentation for import into Italy, the Declaration of Conformity CE of the manufacturer or importer in the EEC.
In the case of foodstuffs, their composition must also be presented (labels).
